ASPIRE Semester 1, Course 8: Danielson Framework

Course 8: Danielson Framework for Teaching (FFT) is the 3rd course of Semester 1 in the ASPIRE to Teach program in the College of Education.
This course deepens teachers’ understanding of Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (FFT) by unpacking its four domains, 22 components, and five “clusters” so candidates can skillfully use the rubric to guide and reflect on their practice. Through hands-on application and self assessment, participants will connect FFT-aligned teaching practices with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and prepare for being both observed and assessed using FFT tools in professional settings.
