AWE (Attracting Women into Engineering)

AWE Dates: July 14th-17th  

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM each day

Eligibility: Current Middle Schoolers (2024-2025 School Year)

Calling all aspiring engineers! The AWE program at Rowan College of Engineering is back for summer 2025 igniting a passion for STEM in middle school students through hands-on projects, exciting demos, and tours of real engineering labs. This four-day, non-residential workshop runs on July mornings, empowering students to explore diverse engineering paths and discover their potential to shape the future. Join us and be part of the 25th year of AWE. (Please note: lunch and snacks are not provided.)

Highlights:

  • Hands-on learning: Real-world projects spark curiosity and build confidence.
  • Explore various engineering disciplines: Discover the diverse applications and possibilities in engineering.
  • Mentorship from faculty, staff, and students: Learn from role models and gain valuable insights from current engineering students.

Building a strong foundation: Cultivate an early interest in STEM fields and collaborate with like-minded peers.
