This podcast is part of the NJ ODEP Program that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This pre-recorded podcast interview focuses on the prevalence of xylazine and desomorphine in illicit drug samples across New Jersey, hot spots, other emerging additives impacting the opioid epidemic, their relationship to fatal overdose, and related topics.
This module is designed to educate New Jersey Physicians; Physician Assistants; and Nurses.
AVAILABLE CREDIT: 0.50 AOA Category 1-B and 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 credit™
All listed health care professionals must complete the Attestation Form, Outcome Survey/Evaluation and Assessment. Upon completion of these items, a certificate will be emailed out.
