Learning Objectives:
- Identify best interdisciplinary and interprofessional practices for breast cancer screening in high-risk women.
- Apply current clinical guidelines and modern care strategies for interprofessional communications and collaboration to develop comprehensive, patient-centered management plans addressing symptom control, long-term health risks, and preventive care during the menopausal transition in the clinical and professional environment.
- Identify interprofessional referrals and resources available to assist immigrant patients
- Implement treatment plans to utilize shred language and therapeutic approaches across disciplines to address the patient’s physical and psychosocial needs
- Promote collaboration between healthcare providers, therapists, and school teams to support patients with developmental and behavioral needs.
