Rowan University is proud to partner with the New Jersey Amistad Commission and the NJEA Consortium in hosting its 2nd Annual Amistad Conference. Participants will engage in meaningful discussions focused on curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, and resource sharing. They will also examine ways to strengthen alignment and collaboration between higher education and K–12 classrooms. This conference will bring together educators from across New Jersey to explore innovative approaches to teaching Black history in conversation with New Jersey’s inclusive education mandates.
